University of Belgrade Among the Top 1.8% in the Global 2000 list by the Centre for World University Rankings

 

The Global 2000 list by the Centre for World University Rankings provides a framework for evaluating higher education institutions across the world. Each year, nearly 21,000 institutions are assessed, and the top 2000 are selected based on measures that include the quality of education, the employability of graduates, the performance of faculty, and the output of research. The ranking offers a systematic approach to comparing institutions on a global scale and serves as a resource for students, educators, and policymakers.  

In 2024, the University of Belgrade was ranked 376, placing it among the top 1.8% of all institutions evaluated. This position reflects its standing in education quality, graduate employability, faculty performance, and research output.  

Other institutions in Serbia also appear on the list! The University of Novi Sad is placed within the top 5.4%, while the University of Kragujevac and the University of Niš are positioned in the top 7.6% and top 8.3% respectively.
