New open call for mobility of students and teachers within CEEPUS networks
The applications for mobility of students and teachers within CEEPUS networks, which will be realized during winter semester of academic 2016/2017, is now open until June 15. Mobility is possible only among HE institutions that form a certain network.
CEEPUS is Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies that provides exchange scholarships for credit mobility, shorter stays, teaching activities and summer schools and other short-term programmes. Current member countries are: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia.
There are three types of student mobility in CEEPUS:
- student – for students who have completed at least 2 semesters at home institution. The minimum stay is three months.
- short-term student – for students working on their thesis (stays shorter than three months).
- short-term excursion – for participants of short group mobilities (summer schools – up to six days)
Teaching staff always applies in the teacher category. The minimum length of teaching mobility is five working days (exceptionally three days for summer schools) and the scholar is requested to have six teaching hours per working week.
All applications need to be submitted on the official CEEPUS online platform. Having in mind that every host country provides scholarships, grants vary from country to country, so before applying, you are kindly asked to check all the details by clicking on the member country you are interested in on CEEPUS portal.
Candidates individually explore their possibilities for mobility on a certain HE partner institution by searching through CEEPUS networks.
