Faculty of Engineering

Mission of the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac, as an educational scientific institution, is to educate young and quality experts from the field of sciences, able to be leaders in development of industry in the region and beyond, using maximum and constant innovation of teaching materials, application of modern methods and techniques of education and through research activities.
Education at the Faculty of Engineering includes a whole spectrum of development of modern and contemporary technology, in accordance with the European trends, ideally placed for practical profession, but also as a basis for efficient creative work.
The role of the Faculty of Engineering is to rationalize, examine and develop innovations in the field of engineering or technical sciences, as well as to help the development of the region and beyond through scientific and technical support.

Vision of the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac is to evolve into a modern European academic institution recognized for its scientific and scientific-research achievements and achievements of the graduate students and the post graduate students in the field of machine technique.
The intention is for the Faculty to educate leaders who will lead the progress of industry in the region and throughout the country, young experts able to engage in cooperation with universities in the entire world.
The objectives of the Faculty of Engineering are:
•    increasing the interest for engineering studies
•    raising the quality level of vocational, academic and doctoral studies
•    improvement of teaching plans and curriculum
•    increasing the volume and types of services
•    developing the scientific-research thoughts
•    creating a new scientific-teaching staff, etc.
The role of the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac needs to become more important and to contribute to faster development of the city, the republic and the country.
Mission, vision and goals should contribute to the faster inclusion of the Faculty of Engineering from Kragujevac in global scientific and scientific-research trends and that also provides  a great contribution to the development of the University of Kragujevac.
