Even though all universities and colleges in Serbia have been closed for more than a month because of the COVID-19 outbreak, undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2020/2021 are still expected to start in June and July of this year. As many programmes require applicants to take an admissions test before enrollment, it was also decided that most entrance exams for bachelor and integrated studies will also take place in the summer of 2020. These decisions were made in line with the current situation regarding the coronavirus pandemic in Serbia. The respective authorities in Serbia decided to gradually lift some of the restrictions and social distancing measures previously imposed to slow down the spread of the virus.
Undergraduate admissions in Serbia normally start in mid-June. In most cases, international students, just like Serbian students, have to register for and take any admissions tests that are required for their study programmes. Admissions examinations for bachelor and integrated studies are usually taken in June or July for the first admission round, and in August and September for the second. Admissions to master and Ph.D. studies typically take place in October. Beware that application deadlines and entrance exam dates differ from programme to programme.
If you want to enroll in a Serbian university, please contact the institution offering the programme of your choice and inquire about the application deadlines and procedure. And as per usual, get in touch with us via email, Facebook, or Instagram if you need any help at this step!
